The versatile Transit End Table blends seamlessly into any residential or corporate space. The surface, which creates a pleasing, elemental pattern, is constructed with solid wood pieces that are joined precisely in parallel to create a design that is both sturdy and lightweight. The legs are splayed slightly for stability and are made with powder-coated steel. Available in natural or black ash finish, nest it with other pieces from our Transit Series to create a playful arrangement, or let it make a modern statement all on its own. Gus* wood accent pieces are constructed using a combination of solid wood construction and real wood veneers. To help maintain their appearance, we recommend cleaning the wood surfaces with a damp cloth in the direction of the grain. Ensure to dry any residual liquid immediately afterwards.
Make sure solid wood is not exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time. Do not put any hot or cold food items/beverages in direct contact with the wood surface as this may cause marking or damage to the finish.Using coasters will increase the longevity of solid wood. Spills must be cleaned immediately, or this may cause permanent damage.
Shrinking, cracking or warping can happen as a direct result of humidity levels and direct sunlight. It is important to keep the humidity at an even level throughout the year. Wood is very susceptible to changes in the humidity of its environment, which causes it to expand and shrink. Climate control will minimize this; a level of 40%-55% humidity with an ideal temperature of 70-72F should be maintained.
