m.a.d. furniture design was created by long-time friends Matt Cole and Dan Given to bring people together with furniture that is comfortable and inspiring. Both have worked in Asia for over ten years developing furniture and managing the supply chains for large US and European retailers. While proud of their work for others, they wanted to create products that they would be happy to put in their own homes.

In 2010, while having dinner with American designer Mark Daniel, the idea was thrown out that all three should pool their talents – Matt as Managing Director, Dan as Technical Director, and Mark as Creative Director – and create a company of their own. Truly an international collaboration, m.a.d. (which stands for Matt and Dan) was created to fill a void in the market place – original, high quality, modern furniture that is actually affordable.

Delivery Estimates

On our product pages, we specify a delivery timeline that assumes that inventory is available from the vendor to fulfill the order. It's always possible that we discover the vendor is out of stock or that the item is on backorder once you place your order. We will let you know as soon as possible, before we confirm your order.

Shipping Methods

Some items ship from our warehouse, while others may ship either from the vendor to our warehouse to you, or directly from the vendor to you.
