The cloud-like Sola Bi-Sectional is an open invitation to lounge. Embodying the ease of coastal living in a design inspired equally by contemporary Italian design and mid- century classics, Sola is perfect for entertaining or enjoying an afternoon siesta.

A plush, expansive seating area, and back cushions filled with our signature, eco-friendly PET fill (made from recycled plastic spun into billowy, synthetic down) means an extra cozy experience. French-seam detailing, stepped arms, and inset legs all subtly contribute to a feeling of weightlessness that will beckon you to sink in after a long day.

  • Reversible (excluding leather) back cushions contain an eco-friendly, synthetic-down fill made from 1039 recycled plastic water bottles
  • Reversible (excluding leather) seat cushions are crafted with high resiliency medium density foam covered in a Dacron wrap
  • French-seam detailing on all seat and back cushions
  • Leather is a semi-aniline dyed performance leather, designed to resist stains, scratches, and fading while preserving its natural appearance and texture
  • Our leathers may have distinct surface characteristics, natural markings, grain pattern and colour variations which differ from hide to hide and from one product to another, making each leather product unique
  • Surface scratches and wear marks on leather are normal and to be expected. Over time they will contribute to the unique personality, patina and visual charm of the design. If desired, scratches and wear marks may be minimized with the use of leather conditioner
  • Kiln-dried, hardwood inner frame with No-Sag, sinuous spring suspension system
  • Each component includes concealed connectors to securely join them to each other while in formation

All Gus* sofas & sectionals feature kiln-dried hardwood or stainless steel frames and employ no-sag spring construction to produce a dependable, long lasting support. Cushions are made with either PET fill, a high-density upholstery foam, or a combination of both to ensure each one holds its shape while providing outstanding comfort and support.

Upon unpacking your new Gus* sofa, we recommend you take the time to ‘model’ it with your hands in order to ensure it returns to its initial appearance which will altered slightly during transportation. A light smoothing out of the upholstery and cushions will restore the sofa to its intended aesthetic quality.

Fabric

For regular maintenance and to maintain the nap of the fabric, we recommend vacuuming your sofa regularly. Dab spills immediately with an absorbent cloth.

Please ask for our cleaning guide, available by request, for details on how to properly clean a specific fabric. If the Cleaning Code calls for spot cleaning with water/water based cleaners, we recommend using distilled water rather than untreated tap water. Always test in an inconspicuous area first before using any product.

For thorough cleaning, we recommend professional dry cleaning or a professional in-home upholstery cleaning service. Protect your furniture from direct sunlight, as this may cause the fabric to fade unevenly.

Leather

Gus* uses aniline dyed leather, which creates a soft, supple product that will become richer as the years pass. The dye penetrates the hide with colour while allowing the natural grain to show through, as it is a natural product. Leather has unique characteristics shaped by nature, including subtle variations and markings.

All Gus* leather is easily maintained without polishes, preservers or leather soaps; however, it is possible to use a non-toxic leather conditioner if you prefer. For routine maintenance, simply dust or vacuum to keep furniture looking good.

Protect your furniture from direct sunlight as this may cause the leather to fade unevenly. Dab spills immediately with a soft cloth dampened in distilled water.

Most surface marks will fade over time if you rub them with your finger – natural oils are released to help the marks disappear; all leather will wear over time giving your piece its own unique character.

Delivery Estimates

On our product pages, we specify a delivery timeline that assumes that inventory is available from the vendor to fulfill the order. It's always possible that we discover the vendor is out of stock or that the item is on backorder once you place your order. We will let you know as soon as possible, before we confirm your order.

Shipping Methods

Some items ship from our warehouse, while others may ship either from the vendor to our warehouse to you, or directly from the vendor to you.
