An updated version of the classic stowaway bench where functionality meets clean form. A solid and versatile bench with lighter, slightly reduced dimensions and minimalistic attitude. It is practical with a large area for storage – consisting of two separated compartments. The lid is lifted via a small leather handle and the construction holds the lid in place while used. The lower cut of the two legs and angles give it a feeling of being uplifted, while overall design is solid and robust. A versatile bench either as a stand - alone item in a hallway, bedroom or any seating area.

Form & Refine is a Danish design brand that celebrates materials, form and sustainability equally. Their pure materials are carefully selected from around the world and skillfully crafted locally using time-honored traditions. They celebrate the natural form of their materials and create collections of refined Nordic design.

Founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen, Form & Refine is based on the common vision of creating a value-driven design brand that explores materials and preserves our earth and craft cultures through an exceptional design philosophy – and a belief in sustainability fostered by choosing local materials neighbouring local workshops and thereby reducing their CO₂ footprint.

They also believe in making a positive social impact and preserving crafts by working with cooperatives and smaller workshops to create fair and respectful partnerships.

Delivery Estimates

On our product pages, we specify a delivery timeline that assumes that inventory is available from the vendor to fulfill the order. It's always possible that we discover the vendor is out of stock or that the item is on backorder once you place your order. We will let you know as soon as possible, before we confirm your order.
